Virgin America is launching two new seasonal routes for its winter 2014-15 schedule.

San Francisco-based Virgin America will operate a daily round-trip between New York JFK and Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (IATA code FLL) and four-times-weekly service between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS).

Virgin America will operate the seasonal New York JFK-Fort Lauderdale service from December 18 through April 28, and will operate its seasonal Boston-Las Vegas service from January 8 through April 28.

Tickets for the new services are available at www.virginamerica.com and 1-877-FLY-VIRGIN, with sale fares for JFK-FLL starting from $99 one-way and BOS-LAS starting from $179 one-way.

The sale fares must be purchased by 11:59pm CT on Thursday, October 2, 2014. Travel must occur between January 8 and February 28, 2015. The lowest sale fares are available only on certain itineraries and are only valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

For sale-fare travel, blackout dates are January 16, January 19, February 13 and February 16, 2015.

All seats on Virgin America’s new seasonal services are also available for Elevate loyalty-program redemption bookings, with no-blackout reward flights on JFK-FLL starting at 3907 points and BOS-LAS starting at 7629 points.

Virgin America has also announced that it will operate two extra round-trips weekly between Las Vegas and New York JFK from January 5 to April 28, bringing its weekly service frequency on the route from the current seven round-trips to nine.

The airline’s new seasonal New York JFK-Fort Lauderdale service will depart JFK at 8:00 a,m, daily from December 18 and will reach FLL at 11:05 a.m. In the other direction, Virgin America’s new Fort Lauderdale-New York JFK flight will leave FLL daily at 9:15 a.m. daily from December 18 and arrive at JFK at 11:55 a.m.

Virgin America’s new Boston-Las Vegas seasonal flight will push back from the gate at BOS at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from January 8 and will touch down at LAS at 1:40 p.m. local time.

In the other direction, the flight will leave LAS at 2:50 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from January 8 and will get to BOS at 10:40 p.m. local time. On Thursdays, the flight will depart LAS at 3:35 p.m. and will land at BOS at 11:25 p.m. local time.

The airline’s two additional New York JFK-Las Vegas seasonal flights are timed to vacate the gate at JFK at 11:35 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays from January 5 and arrive at LAS at 2:35 p.m. local time.

In the other direction, one of Virgin America’s two additional LAS-JFK flights will depart LAS at 3:10 p.m. on Mondays and get to JFK at 11:00 p.m. local time. The other flight is timed to leave LAS at 3:35 p.m. on Wednesdays and touch down at JFK at 11:25 p.m. local time.
