The new non-stop flight between Denver and Houston will continue on to Orlando with same-plane service. In addition, the new daily non-stop flight between Houston and Denver complements Spirit’s existing one-stop service.

Spirit Airlines’ new daily non-stop service between Detroit and Houston continues on to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with same-plane service.

“Spirit Airlines continues to find new business opportunities within Houston’s thriving economy,” says Houston Aviation Director Mario Diaz. “Since arriving last September, Spirit Airlines has repeatedly stepped forward with new investments in new non-stop routes and it’s the air passengers in Houston who are reaping the benefits.”

“We are extremely happy to see Spirit launch new nonstop flights between Detroit and Houston as it was our third-largest market without low cost carrier (LCC) service,” says Wayne County Airport Authority CEO Thomas Naughton. “With this new flight, 14 of our top 16 markets will now have LCC competition – and Spirit is the reason for the majority of them.”

Spirit Airlines currently offers daily non-stop service from Houston to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Las Vegas and Orlando, as well as a variety of connections throughout the Americas. In addition, daily non-stop service between Houston and Los Angeles begins on April 25.

The carrier’s schedule between Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport (IATA code IAH) and Denver International Airport (DEN will see flight NK713 leaving IAH at 5:45 p.m. daily and landing at DEN at 7:08 p.m. local time.

In the other direction, flight NK832 will depart DEN daily at 9:00 a.m. and reach IAH at 12:19 p.m. local time.

Spirit’s schedule between Houston and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) calls for flight NK906 to push back from the gate at IAH at 9:15 a.m. daily and touch down at DTW at 1:25 p.m. local time.

In the other direction, flight NK939 will begin taxiing at DTW at 2:15 p.m. daily and get to IAH at 3:48 p.m. local time.
