Spirit Airlines is launching daily non-stop service from Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport to both Denver and Detroit on June 13.
The new non-stop flight between Denver and Houston will continue on to Orlando with same-plane service. In addition, the new daily non-stop flight between Houston and Denver complements Spirit’s existing one-stop service.
Spirit Airlines’ new daily non-stop service between Detroit and Houston continues on to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with same-plane service.
“Spirit Airlines continues to find new business opportunities within Houston’s thriving economy,” says Houston Aviation Director Mario Diaz. “Since arriving last September, Spirit Airlines has repeatedly stepped forward with new investments in new non-stop routes and it’s the air passengers in Houston who are reaping the benefits.”
“We are extremely happy to see Spirit launch new nonstop flights between Detroit and Houston as it was our third-largest market without low cost carrier (LCC) service,” says Wayne County Airport Authority CEO Thomas Naughton. “With this new flight, 14 of our top 16 markets will now have LCC competition – and Spirit is the reason for the majority of them.”
Spirit Airlines currently offers daily non-stop service from Houston to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Las Vegas and Orlando, as well as a variety of connections throughout the Americas. In addition, daily non-stop service between Houston and Los Angeles begins on April 25.
