Southwest Airlines will expand its fledgling international-service network by offering new flights to both the Pacific and Caribbean coasts of Mexico from August 10 and early October, as well as launching other new international services.

The new routes are included in Southwest Airlines’ extended flight schedule, which now runs through October 31, 2014.

Beginning August 10, Southwest Airlines will operate daily non-stop flights linking Cancun with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International Airport as well as Saturdays-only service linking Cancun with Milwaukee.

Southwest will also operate daily non-stop service between Los Cabos International Airport in Mexico and John Wayne Orange County Airport.

Additionally, the airline will operate Saturdays-only service between Nassau and Atlanta.

Then, on October 7, Southwest will begin daily non-stop service linking Denver International Airport with Cancun. On October 11, it will launch Saturdays-only service between Denver and Los Cabos.

Sale fares can be purchased on southwest.com through March 13. To promote the new services, Southwest Airlines is offering introductory one-way fares (including U.S. and non-U.S. taxes and fees) for non-stop international flights from several U.S. gateways: Atlanta-Nassau from $127; Baltimore/Washington-Nassau from $126; Denver-Los Cabos from $192; Orlando-Montego Bay from $148; Milwaukee-Cancun from $214; and Orange County-Los Cabos from $143.

As the planned integration of wholly owned subsidiary AirTran Airways into Southwest continues, Southwest intends to serve five countries previously served by AirTran by the end of this year.

The carrier previously announced service to Aruba, Nassau, and Montego Bay starting on July 1. Throughout this booking window, Southwest is adding domestic connectivity through international gateway cities to many of the more than 80 cities it serves throughout the United States.

All these international non-stop flights and connecting itineraries between the U.S. and these countries are available to book now at southwest.com.

Sale fares on Southwest’s international routes must be purchased by March 13, 2014, 11:59 p.m. in the respective time zone of the originating city.  The fares advertised are based on itineraries where the point of origin is in the United States.

Travel dates are July 1 through August 8 between Atlanta or Baltimore/Washington and Aruba; July 1 through October 31 between Atlanta, Baltimore/Washington, or Orlando and Montego Bay; July 1 through October 31 between Baltimore/Washington and Nassau; and July 1 through August 8 between Atlanta or Baltimore/Washington and Aruba.

Additionally, travel dates of August 10 through October 31 apply for sale fares between Atlanta or Baltimore/Washington and Cancun; Milwaukee and Cancun; Orlando and Aruba; Orange County and Los Cabos; and Atlanta and Nassau.
