JetBlue Airways will launch a new route to Curaçao from New York JFK on December 2, subject to receiving government operating authority.
The new, twice-weekly round-trip will provide the only non-stop service to Curaçao from New York, according to JetBlue Airways, which will operate the flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays from December 2.

Curaçao, which is part of the Netherlands Antilles ‘ABC’ island group which includes Aruba and Bonaire, is known for its diving, beaches and unique architecture. The historic island is already a popular destination for European travelers and its capital, Willemsted, is a UNESCO World Heritage City.
To promote its new New York-Curaçao new route, JetBlue is offering one-way flights from New York JFK to Curaçao from $139 for travel between December 2, 2014 and February 10, 2015 on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
One-way sale fares will cost more for flights to New York from Curaçao as a result of higher government taxes and fees.
Travel blackout dates under the sale fares are December 20, 2014 to January 3, 2015 and tickets must be purchased by August 6, by the earlier of 11:59 PM Eastern Time or local time at the place of purchase.
“This well-preserved island is our 31st Caribbean destination, and is a favorite among diving enthusiasts for its healthy coral reefs, and is considered one of the nicest Caribbean escapes for discerning travelers thanks to its pristine beaches and clear water,” says Robin Hayes, JetBlue’s president. “These natural attractions make the island a natural choice for JetBlue.”

The airline’s schedule between New York JFK (IATA code JFK) and Curaçao will see its twice-weekly flight leaving JFK at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays from December 2 and landing at Curaçao’s Hato International Airport (CUR) at 2:30 p.m. local time.
In the other direction, JetBlue’s return flight will depart CUR at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at JFK at 7:14 p.m. local time.
