Frontier Airlines is increasing service frequency from its Denver International Airport hub (DEN) to Chicago Midway (MDW), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), New York LaGuardia (LGA) and Sacramento, California (SMF) next spring.
The new flights, and Frontier Airlines’ complete summer schedule, are available for booking through September 10, 2011 at www.FrontierAirlines.com.
“This increase in service to Chicago, Dallas, New York and Sacramento provides Frontier’s guests with greater convenience, flexibility and low fares for their summer travels,” says Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s vice president of strategy and planning. “With more than 60 nonstop destinations in the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica, Frontier provides the Colorado community access to more nonstop destinations than any other low-cost carrier.”

Frontier Airlines will add a fifth daily flight on its Denver-Chicago Midway route from May 16. The flight will leave DEN at 6:00 a.m. and arrive at MDW at 9:18 a.m. local time. On the return trip, Frontier’s flight will depart MDW at 9:58 a.m. and reach DEN at 11:38 a.m. local time.
A sixth daily flight between Denver and Dallas/Fort Worth will be introduced on May 13. Frontier’s new flight is timed to push back at DEN at 5:55 p.m. in order to make an 8:44 p.m. arrival at DFW, local time. In the other direction, the flight departs DEN at 8:25 a.m. (from May 14) and lands at DEN at 9:26 a.m.
Frontier is offering a third weekday flight to New York LaGaurdia from March 28. This flight is scheduled to leave DEN on all days except Saturdays and Sundays at 7:00 a.m. and get to LGA at 12:44 p.m. local time. In the other direction, the flight is timed to push back at LGA at 1:29 p.m. and get to DEN at 4:00 p.m.
The airline is launching a fourth daily flight to Sacramento on April 18. This flight will depart DEN at 6:05 p.m. and arrive at SMF at 7:38 p.m. local time. From April 19, the return flight will leave SMF at 9:00 a.m. and touch down at DEN at 12:19 p.m.
Frontier is also resuming its nonstop seasonal summer service between Denver and Fairbanks, Alaska (FAI) on May 13. Frontier operates the only nonstop service between Denver and Fairbanks, as well as daily summer seasonal service between Denver and Anchorage, Alaska (ANC).
Four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Frontier Airlines’ flight will push back from the gate at DEN at 6:10 p.m., in order to make a 9:37 p.m. arrival at FAI, local time. In the other direction, Frontier Airlines’ flight will depart FAI at 10:35 p.m. and land at DEN at 5:48 a.m. the next day, local time.
