American Airlines is launching daily non-stop service between Miami International Airport and Milan Malpensa Airport on November 21.

American Airlines is launching daily non-stop service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) on November 21.

According to American Airlines, its extensive network from Miami will give passengers traveling from Milan access to more than 100 destinations throughout the United States, Caribbean and Latin America.

Customers can begin booking travel on the new route on June 2, for travel beginning November 21.

American will operate the new service between Miami and Milan as part of its transatlantic joint business agreement with British Airways and Iberia. Through this relationship, American’s customers now have access to more than 125 destinations throughout Europe.

“As the home to a growing Italian population and one of the world’s key fashion industry markets, Miami continues to be a preferred destination for travel from Milan,” says Marilyn DeVoe, American’s vice president – Miami.

American’s daily Miami-Milan schedule will see flight AA206 departing MIA at 5:55 p.m. and reaching MXP at 9:35 a.m. the following morning, local time.

In the other direction, American’s flight AA207 will leave MXP at 11:25 a.m. and touch down at MIA at 4:40 p.m. the same day, local time.

American will operate the Miami-Milan route with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft outfitted with business-class and economy-class cabins and offering 218 seats in total.

In addition to its new service from Miami, American also currently serves MXP from New York JFK.
