Allegiant Air is starting nonstop service between Bozeman, Montana and Phoenix-Mesa in Arizona on November 12.
The company will introduce the new service to the Gallatin Valley with fares from $64.99 one-way plus government taxes and fees and Allegiant Air’s nearly unavoidable “convenience” fees. Allegiant’s $64.99 one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by October 12 and is valid for travel through March 8, 2011. Introductory fares are not available on all flights.
After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route will start from the same base-fare level, $64.99. Reservations can be made at www.allegiant.com or by calling the company at 702-505-8888.

The aging McDonnell Douglas MD-80 family is the only aircraft family that Allegiant Air operates on its mainland-U.S domestic routes. Allegiant Air operates several variants of the type and also has contracted to purchase six second-hand Boeing 757-200s for use on new routes between the U.S. mainland and Hawaii
“We’re excited to see Allegiant expanding service at Gallatin Field with new nonstop service to the Phoenix-Mesa area,” says Brian Sprenger, airport director for Bozeman’s Gallatin Field, said. “Our community has been asking for Phoenix-Mesa flights since Allegiant began service from Bozeman two years ago and we are pleased Allegiant has responded. All of Southwest Montana will benefit from the new service; we expect it to be very successful.”
The new flights will operate twice weekly between Gallatin Field Airport (BZN) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA), with service on Mondays and Fridays. Flights will depart BZN at 5:30 p.m. and arrive at IWA at 7:55 p.m. In the other direction, Allegiant’s flights will leave IWA at 2:40 p.m. and land at BZN at 4:50 p.m. All flight times are local.
Allegiant Air also offers nonstop service from Bozeman to Las Vegas.
