“Beyond the added connectivity, there is a natural connection between Fairbanks and Portland, with many Alaskans having family members in the Rose City,” adds Romano.

From June 9, the carrier’s Portland-Fairbanks service will depart Portland International Airport (IATA code PDX) at 8:05 p.m. daily until September 1 and land at Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) at 11:05 p.m. local time.

In the other direction, Alaska Airlines’ flight will leave FAI daily from June 10 through September 2 at 12:15 a.m. and reach PDX at 5:04 a.m. local time.
