Australia’s Strategic Airlines says it will make available for sale hundreds of bargain fares from Brisbane and Melbourne to Hawaii on August 15, 2011 following the U.S. Department of Transportation’s approval on August 11 for the carrier to operate between Australia and the United States.
Strategic Airlines confirms it will launch non-stop services from Brisbane and Melbourne to Honolulu on December 14 and 15, 2011, respectively. The airline is also launching non-stop service between Melbourne and Brisbane in December.
Launch fares from A$499 one-way from Brisbane and A$599 one-way from Melbourne, inclusive of all taxes, to Honolulu go on sale at www.flystrategic.com from 9:00 a.m. AEST on Monday August 15, until sold out. Fees for telephone bookings will apply. All fares are subject to availability, may not be available on all flights and are subject to regulatory approval.
Strategic Airlines started operations with a fleet of one Airbus A330-200 and two A320s, but is building its fleet of both types and according to Wikipedia is planning to operate at least seven A330s, as well as a fleet of A320s
Strategic Airlines says the new flights will depart Brisbane on Wednesdays and Fridays and Melbourne on Thursdays and Saturdays, starting in time for the 2011 Christmas and school-holidays period. The carrier will operate its new Hawaii services using an Airbus A330-200 seating 30 in Business Class and 244 in Economy Class.
“We are delighted to be adding Hawaii as our latest international destination,” says Michael James, Strategic Airlines’ group managing director and CEO.
“From December we will also launch our first flights on the Melbourne-Brisbane route to provide a new domestic-airline alternative between these cities,” adds James. “These flights will operate four times daily, which will allow for peak traffic times and great connections onto our international services to Honolulu, Phuket and Bali.”
In addition to rights to fly to the U.S., Strategic Airlines has also gained approval to operate services between Australia and China.
“We are now assessing potential opportunities and working on all regulatory requirements with China regulators,” says James.

I would like to visit Honululu-Hawai, please can you give me the flight connections from Dar es Salaam using any cheap flight in July 2012, also tentative flight cost.
