Delta Air Lines has opened a new Delta Sky Club at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
SeaTac’s new Delta Sky Club is the third new or renovated club that Delta Air Lines has opened this month as part of the carrier’s $2 billion-plus investment in enhancing its customer service both on the ground and in the air.
“The new Delta Sky Club will be a great asset to customers, both the international travelers passing through Seattle and those who call the Seattle area home,” says Steve Sear, Delta vice president – global sales. “The experience offers a great space to relax and recharge as well as something that truly says Seattle – views of the landmark Mount Rainier.”
Delta’s new club, located on the roof of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s South Satellite terminal, measures nearly 8,300 square feet in area and offers a full wall of windows with a view of Mount Rainier. For international passengers traveling to or through Seattle, the club also offers shower suites and a recharge zone with comfortable lounge chairs.

The new Delta Sky Club design includes a full-service bar with complimentary beverages and snacks throughout the day; art which features aerial landscapes of the region; personalized flight assistance; updated restrooms; satellite television; and a work zone complete with complimentary Wi-Fi, cyber counters with power outlets, desktop computers, wireless printers and additional charging stations.
“The new Delta Sky Club is a testament to Delta’s commitment to the Seattle market,” says Port of Seattle Commissioner John Creighton. “The Port of Seattle is privileged that Delta, one of the world’s largest airlines, has chosen Seattle as its premier gateway on the West Coast.”
Delta has 38 daily departures out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to 12 destinations, including Amsterdam, Beijing, Osaka Kansai and Tokyo Narita.
In the last year, Delta has unveiled nine renovated or new clubs across its network, all featuring the new Delta Sky Club design.
Details regarding Delta Sky Club memberships, including the new, flexible Delta Sky Club Payment Plan, are available online at www.delta.com/skyclub.
Delta’s Sky Club investments are the latest in the airline’s previously announced plan to invest more than $2 billion in enhanced products, services and airport facilities through 2013. In addition to improving Delta Sky Clubs and upgrading its domestic fleet, Delta will offer full flat-bed seats on more than 140 widebody aircraft.
It will also feature personal, in-seat entertainment for both BusinessElite and Economy class customers on all widebody flights and will complete new terminal facilities for international customers at its two largest global gateways, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and New York JFK.
