Allegiant Air to Launch Gary-Orlando Sanford Service

Allegiant Air is launching twice-weekly service between Gary, Indiana and Orlando Sanford International Airport on February 15, 2012.

The carrier will introduce the new service to Gary residents with one-way fares from $69.99, plus government fees.


Allegiant Air’s one-way introductory fares are limited, must be purchased by January 4 and is valid for travel by May 15, 2012. Introductory fares are not available on all flights.

A “convenience” fee of $10.00 per passenger, per segment is included in the introductory one-way fare. A fee of $14.99 per segment, will apply when purchased through Allegiant Air call centers. Purchases made at any Allegiant airport ticket office will not incur a convenience or call-center fee.

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Gary/Chicago International Airport (GYY) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). on Sundays, and on Wednesdays or Thursdays in alternate weeks.
