The Boeing 787 Dreamliner landed for the first time in Turkey today, Istanbul being a destination on the 787’s global Dream Tour.
Over the next five days, airline customers, suppliers, and invited guests will get a chance to see first-hand the Dream Tour 787 outfitted with the Dreamliner’s special cabin features
These include a welcoming entryway, dramatically larger dimmable widows, bigger bins and dynamic LED lighting.
The Boeing 787-8 made the short flight to Istanbul Atatürk International Airport after spending three days in Moscow and will remain at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport until April 11 before heading to its next stop in Madrid.
The Boeing 787 Dream Tour airplane, ZA003, was originally used for flight testing but has been refurbished to showcase the standard capabilities and features of the 787, including an interior that highlights the passenger-preferred features of the aircraft.
