AGI (International Airlines Group) yesterday announced the conversion to firm orders of options placed in September 2022 relating to 10 aircraft Airbus A320neo.
These latest-generation single-aisle aircraft, whose delivery is scheduled for 2028, are intended to replace the A320ceos in service with the group’s airlines (British Airways, Iberia and Vueling).
“These next-generation devices are more economical and less fuel-intensive than those they are set to replace, which will help us meet our goal of net zero emissions by 2050.“, explained Luis Gallego, the general manager of IAG, quoted by the agency CircleFinance.
