Airbus announced today that it has delivered 72 aircraft to 48 customers and received 902 orders in June 2023.
During the first six months of the year, the aircraft manufacturer delivered some 316 aircraft to 73 customers, which represents a 6% increase in deliveries compared to the first half of 2022. Among the aircraft delivered during this period of January- June 2023, there are 21 A350 wide-body aircraft, 106 A320neo single-aisle aircraft and 147 A321neo single-aisle aircraft.
The European aircraft manufacturer recorded large orders last month at the Paris Air Show. In total, during the first six months of the year, it won 1080 gross orders (1044 net).
Airbus aims to deliver a total of 720 aircraft in 2023. After an unstable start to the year due to disruptions in supply chains, the trend has gradually returned to “more predictable” at Airbus, told the agency in June Reuters the commercial director of Airbus, Christian Scherer, according to whom the trend now seems to be on the right track.
