The European aircraft manufacturer Airbus confirmed to have delivered 55 aircraft to 34 clients and obtained 23 planes ordered in September.

The deliveries included the first A350 for Air India, part of a batch of six aircraft originally sold to Russian carrier Aeroflot. Air India placed a giant order for 470 Airbus and Boeing aircraft earlier this year. Deliveries remained stable in September, but increased 23% in the third quarter compared to the same period a year earlier, according to aircraft manufacturer data.

During the first nine months of the year, Airbus delivered a total of 488 aircraft to 78 customers, and aims 720 deliveries for the whole of 2023. The number of aircraft ordered stands at 1,280 aircraft, or 1,241 after cancellations.
