Airbnb launches an advertising campaign that challenges the hotel industry

According to information from the specialized media Traveldailynews, Airbnb launched an advertising campaign that shows travelers in isolated settings, in individual hotel rooms or in crowded hotel swimming pools. These scenarios contrast sharply with the images of the campaign and the customers welcomed in comfortable spaces within the properties offered in home-sharing.

The latest Airbnb campaign directly targets the hotel industry

A punch therefore against the traditional hotel sector, because we aim to present a stay in an Airbnb structure as a better option than staying in a hotel.

The campaign was developed in collaboration with animation studio Buck and debuted in the United States and Canada on August 24. It will gradually expand to Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Korea, the United Kingdom and other European markets in early September. Videos, like the one below, will appear on all social networks.
