Following the announcement by the Chinese authorities on the easing of travel, from July 1, Air France is gradually increasing its operations to Hong Kong and mainland China. For the 2023 summer season, the company will have recovered 48.3% of its seat capacity offered before the pandemic.
Currently, the airline offers CDG connections to Beijing – Capital (PEK) with a weekly frequency; the Shanghai – Pudong (PVG) service increases from 2 to 3 weekly flights from February 3; and on January 9, it resumed operations to Hong Kong (HKG) with three weekly operations. For the moment, the company keeps the route to Wuhan (WUH) suspended.
The route to Shanghai will be operated on Boeing 777-300ERs with a capacity of 369 passengers in three classes with the new cabins (48 Business Class/48 Premium Economy/273 Economy) and services to Beijing and Hong Kong will be carried out on Boeing 787- 9 Dreamliners with a capacity of 279 seats in three classes (30 Business Class/21 Premium Economy/228 Economy).
Promotional fares are available on flights to Mainland China and Hong Kong from EUR 470 and EUR 685 each way respectively.
