The National Union of cabin crew (SNPNC-FO) of the company Air Caribbean filed a renewable strike notice between the August 11 and 15 included.

The mandatory annual negotiations could not lead to an agreement because the management did not consult the employees by means of a referendum.“, explains the union in a press release, which also calls on ground staff to disengage. “The main demands are neither listened to nor heard, whether in terms of equal treatment between categories of personnel, whether in terms of scheduling stability or even in terms of rest on board the A330s“, the long-haul carriers that make transatlantic connections between mainland France and the overseas territories in the West Indies.

The SNPNC-FO is calling for the setting up of negotiation meetings for October 2023, adding that this strike notice from August 11 to 15 is “likely to be extended beyond“, depending on management’s response.
