Following Air Canada’s decision to ensure its passenger flights previously scheduled only for the summer season, Air Canada Cargo will offer its customers capacity all year round for the main European cities.

Among the key routes that will remain accessible to customers throughout the winter season, Air Canada Cargo cites Montreal–Rome, Toronto–Copenhagen and Toronto–Madrid. It will also offer its customers a service to Lyon as soon as Air Canada passenger service resumes in mid-October.

In addition to these routes now operating all year round, Air Canada Cargo will also benefit from an increase in the frequency of flights departing from Toronto or Montreal for Barcelona, Casablanca, Paris, Lisbon, Athens, Rome and Edinburgh.

We are pleased to offer additional cargo carrying capacity on board our widebody aircraft on year-round routes, and to offer our customers a greater choice of options in key markets between Europe and Canada, said Matthieu Casey, General Manager Commercial Affairs at Air Canada Cargo. The hold capacity of Air Canada’s passenger network complements our cargo plane service, and these new connections, as well as additional passenger flight frequencies, will strengthen our transatlantic offering. »
