The airline company AirBelgium opened for sale its flights between Brussels And Port Louis, johannesburg And The cap – without mentioning a return to Charleroi or the West Indies.
Between March 31 and October 25, 2024, the Belgian company plans to offer two flights per week between its base in Brussels-Zaventem and the airport of Port Louis-SSRTuesday and Friday (except from 10/04 to 06/05/2024, from 14/05 to 01/07 and from 3/09 to 14/10, periods during which only one flight per week will be operated, every Fridays), and two others to the airports of Johannesburg OR Tambo Then Capetown, Wednesday and Sunday (except from 21/04 to 23/06/24, during which period only one flight per week will be provided to Johannesburg, every Sunday). Thanks to the extension of the interline agreements concluded by Air Belgium, including the one with Air Mauritus, its passengers will be able to access the following destinations:
– 3 in the Indian Ocean, Saint Denis-Roland Garros, Rodrigues-Sir Gaëtan Duval and Antananarivo-Ivato via Mauritius;
– 17 domestic destinations in South Africa and another 29 in Southern Africa with AirLink (4A) and cemair (5Z)
Air Belgium also announces “improved timetables” this winter to Mauritius, the transition to night flights departing from Brussels allowing passengers to “benefit from more favorable arrival and return times”. From October 31, the flight will take off at 4:40 p.m. instead of 9:05 a.m. and arrive the next day at 7:30 a.m. instead of 11:55 p.m. the same day; the return will leave SSR at 9:00 a.m. instead of 1:25 a.m., for an arrival at 6:00 p.m. instead of 10:25 a.m. Passengers who have already booked their flights for this period “have been contacted to confirm acceptance of this new flight schedule”.
