AF-KLM + Etihad: code-share and cooperation on loyalty

In a press release, the Air France-KLM group announced that the two airlines are extending their codeshare cooperation with Etihad. As a first step, more than 40 new routes to destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Australia are now available for booking, starting in the winter 2023 season.

Indeed, Air France-KLM and Etihad plan to extend their code-sharing and interlining agreements started in 2012. The Gulf company currently operates flights between Abu Dhabi and Paris, a route which will also be operated by Air France from from October 29, as well as between Abu Dhabi and Amsterdam.

Air France-KLM and Etihad Airways announced today that they have also signed a memorandum of understanding to increase their cooperation in the areas of passenger operations, customer loyalty programs and development and maintenance.
