Aeroflot announced an increase in the number of flights from Russia to Thailanda very popular holiday destination among the Russians.
The Russian airline will operate a total of up to 27 weekly flights to Thailand – serving the Thai capital Bangkok and the tourist peninsula of Phuket – during the fall/winter 2023/2024 program.
From September 29, the frequency of flights Moscow to Phuket will increase from 5 to 7 weekly flights, and up to 17 weekly flights from October 29, 2023: three daily flights from Moscow will be operated on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and two daily flights on other days of the week.
From September 30, the frequency of flights Moscow to Bangkok will increase from 4 to 7 flights per week, and up to 10 connections per week from November 1, 2023. Two daily flights will be operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with daily service available on other days.
At the same time, Aeroflot will also increase the number of direct flights to Phuket from different regions of Russia. In October, it will resume flights to the popular Thai beach destination from Vladivostok and Krasnoyarsk, on October 4 and 6, 2023, respectively. It has also decided to extend its summer schedule of flights from Phuket from Novosibirsk and Khabarovsk to the winter season.
Banned in the skies of the European Union and a majority of countries in the northern hemisphere following theRussian military invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the Russian national airline is reorienting from its leisure network to countries close to Moscow, such as Cuba or Venezuela, or neutral countries such as Thailand, Turkey or the United Arab Emirates.
