ADP: Paris airport traffic at 93.9% of pre-Covid level in August

In August 2023, ADP Group (Paris Airports) recorded 9.8 million passengers in Paris airports Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orlytraffic up 6.7% compared to August 2022 and 93.9% of the level of August 2019.

In detail, Paris-CDG welcomed exactly 6,523,730 passengers, an increase of 8.4% compared to August 2022. This traffic in the leading French airport is 87.3% of the pre-pandemic traffic of 2019. For its part, Paris-Orly saw 3,241,489 passengers pass through, an increase of 3.4% compared to the same month last year. As in July, traffic at Paris-Orly in August 2023 exceeded its pre-pandemic level, at 110.8%.

Since the start of the year (from January to August), total traffic at Groupe ADP’s Paris airports has increased by 19.6% compared to last year, to 66.6 million passengers. It represents 91% of traffic over the same period of 2019, the reference year before the Covid pandemic.

Overall, airports managed by the French airport group around the world welcomed 34 million passengers last month. This number represents 98.2% of July 2019 passenger traffic.
