Created on the initiative of Jessica Pommiertravel blogger “Mes Ptits Bouts du Monde” and radio columnist, this travel fair in Auvergne is the first major fair dedicated to the world of tourism in the very center of France, just 3.5 hours by train from Paris.
A true link between travelers and professionals, the Travel Show will allow us to meet a new audience in this region, focused on a mainly family target, but also connected.
Hybrid exhibition, it will also promote all destinations in France and abroad (regional tourist offices, towns, villages in France and internationally, travel agencies, tourist accommodation, labels, travel bookstores, transport, insurance), but also local tourism by highlighting the territory in which the salon is located in Auvergne.
To ensure that the show becomes a real family travel event, numerous activities will allow visitors to escape as they pass through the show door. World dance and culture shows orchestrated by the famous Ambert World Festival in partnership, thematic mini-conferences to get concrete information on upcoming trips, world cuisine village with food trucks, photo exhibitions, world cuisine workshops, film screenings adventure, creation of travel diaries…
Raising awareness about responsible travel will also be highlighted, in order to contribute to sustainable tourism which takes into account its economic, social and environmental impacts, whether in France or abroad.
Professional bloggers @LesDroners, @Hellolaroux, @Chaloumar, @LesCoflocs, @Sarah_hiking in particular have already confirmed their participation in the first edition of the Salon des Voyages.
Jessica Pommier, founder of the Salon des Voyages en Auvergne specifies:
“Coming from a family operating in tourism, and more particularly in outdoor hotels, I have always been passionate about travel. Originally from the center of France, and from Auvergne in particular, I have noticed over the years that there is no travel event of this magnitude in the region, while the potential in terms of visitors is enormous. . I therefore wanted to create this new meeting to promote destinations from the four corners of the world, but also to highlight my region of origin and heart to visitors. »
