The extra flights will complement Delta’s existing daily service to Tel Aviv, giving the airline a total of 11 round-trips a week on the New York-Tel Aviv route. New York-Tel Aviv is its third-largest transatlantic market, according to Delta Air Lines.

Star Alliance member Aegean Airlines has launched an expanded schedule which includes 29 new scheduled international routes from a total of 12 Greek and Cypriot airports, eight of which Aegean uses as bases.
