Singapore Airlines has agreed to sell its 49 per cent stake in Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd to Delta Air Lines for $360 million in cash. Together with its share purchase, Delta Air Lines has reached agreement with Virgin Atlantic Airways to form a new joint venture on transatlantic routes.
