WestJet to Add Services and More Flights from Québec Province

WestJet is increasing service and launching new routes from Montréal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Québec City’s Jean Lesage International Airport. Overall, the airline is adding 105 more flights per week from Québec province, a capacity increase of 74 per cent.

To mark the occasion of its first service to the United Kingdom, WestJet worked with the world’s last dedicated hand-crafted tartan mill, D.C. Dalgliesh of Selkirk in Scotland, to design a commemorative tartan in the airline’s blue-and-teal corporate colors.

Air Canada is expanding its North American route network by adding eight non-stop routes in its summer 2015 schedule, as well as increasing capacity on two other routes. Four will be operated by regional-airline partner Jazz Aviation LP and four by Air Canada rouge.

Daily non-stop flights to Glasgow Airport from Halifax in Nova Scotia begin on May 29 and continue through October 23. WestJet will also offer one-stop, same-aircraft service from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Glasgow, via Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
