Four Customers Order 50 Embraer E-Jets and Commit to 35 More

On the first day of the Paris Air Show 2015, Embraer announced new orders from four customers for 50 aircraft of its E-Jet and E-Jet E2 families, as well as options and other commitments from two of the customers for 35 additional E-Jets.

Heading the list of customers is the United States’ SkyWest Inc., the largest regional-airline company in the world, which signed a firm order for 100 Embraer 175-E2s and took purchase rights on another 100, bringing its total potential order to 200 aircraft. SkyWest becomes the launch customer for the Embraer 175-E2.
