American Airlines and its sister regional carrier American Eagle are scheduling additional seasonal round-trips from Chicago O’Hare International Airport to Evansville in Indiana, Dayton in Ohio, Moline in Illinois and Flint in Michigan from April 5.

Eagle will operate the new seasonal services to Evansville Regional Airport (EVV), James Cox Dayton International Airport (DAY) and Quad City International Airport (MLI), with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 regional jets. American Airlines’ new flight to Flint’s Bishop International Airport (FNT) will be operated by an American Connection franchise carrier using 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140 regional jets.


American Eagle operates a large fleet of Embraer ERJ-135s, ERJ-140s (one is seen in this photograph) and ERJ-145s, as well as a fleet of up-to-70-seat Bombardier CRJ700s

American Eagle will operate one additional round-trip between Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Evansville, every day except Saturdays. American Eagle and American Connection already operate four daily round-trips on the route. The schedule for the new round-trip calls for flight AA4398 to depart ORD at 10:45 a.m. and reach EVV at 11:45 a.m. In the other direction, flight AA4399 is timed to leave EVV at 12:20 p.m. and land at ORD at 1:35 p.m.

Eagle will offer two additional round-trips (one daily and one six times a week) between O’Hare and Dayton for the 2011 summer season, along with the three it already operates. The schedule calls for flight AA4032 to push back at ORD at 10:00 a.m. and arrive at DAY at 12:00 noon local time. Flight AA4382 is timed to leave ORD at 5:50 p.m.and get to DAY at 7:55 p.m. local time.

In the other direction, flight AA4039 will push back from the gate at DAY at 12:35 p.m., in order to make a 12:45 p.m. arrival at ORD, local time. Flight AA4381 is timed to leave DAY at 8:30 p.m. and land at ORD at 8:35 p.m. local time. This flight will not operate on Saturdays.

American Eagle will schedule one additional daily round-trip between Chicago O’Hare and Moline’s Quad City International Airport for the summer season, to go along with the three daily flights already operated on the route by Eagle (one flight) and American Connection (two flights). Flight AA3929 is timed to leave ORD at 11:00 a.m. and arrive at MLI at 11:45 a.m. In the other direction, flight AA3971 will push back from the gate at MLI at 12:15 p.m. and land at ORD at 1:05 p.m.

Between Chicago O’Hare and Flint, Michigan’s Bishop International Airport, American Connection will offer one additional daily round-trip to add to the three existing American Connection round-trips on the route. Flight AA5089 is scheduled to depart ORD at 12:35 p.m. and get to FNT at 2:30 p.m. local time. In the other direction, flight AA5088 will leave FNT at 3:00 p.m. and arrive at ORD at 3:10 p.m. local time.
