A new commercial online service has launched to help travelers obtain U.S. passports, visas for other countries and other travel documents on an express basis. The service calls itself www.expresspassport.com and says its fees are competitive and graduated, depending how fast the traveler needs to get the documentation.
The company says new, tougher passport rules that went into effect on June 1 have made it illegal and virtually impossible for US citizens to leave the USA without a passport. The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), put in place after the attacks of 9/11, means that even traveling to Canada or Mexico requires a passport, but routine applications directly through the State Department, as of July 15 are taking 4 to 6 weeks.
So www.expresspassport.com has launched its online service to help travelers get their documentation needs fulfilled in expedited fashion. The new service says its staff have decades of combined experience in helping travelers obtain travel and identity documents fast.
The company says its documentation assistance services include express help in replacing lost passports, assistance with obtaining an International Driver’s Permit, helping secure visas for entry to foreign countries and providing advice on which countries require extra documentation. Travelers can visit the site or call 1-(888) 612-9899 toll-free to talk with a travel documentation specialist.
