Maui’s newest luxury resort, Honua Kai Resort & Spa, is offering Fall Special room and suite rates at up to 50 per cent off its rack rates.
The Fall Special 2009 rates start at $200 per night for the Ohana Resort View category and 50 per cent off published rack rates in the resort’s Ohana, one- and two-bedroom suite categories, based on availability. Rates are valid from September 1 through December 12. The rates are based upon double occupancy in Ohana suites and one-bedroom suites, and up to four in its two-bedroom suites.
Situated on 38 oceanfront acres of Kaanapali’s North Beach, the resort is designed as two U-shaped buildings with ocean and mountain views, lush landscaping and expansive open spaces.
The resort has aimed to mirror the openness of its grounds in each of the 628 guest suites (one-, two-, and three-bedroom) with professionally equipped kitchens, spacious and homelike floor plans, and luxury resort services. A network of pools, hot tubs, natural pond bridges, waterslide, waterfalls and fountains allows for privacy and play.
Honua Kai Resort & Spa is opening in phases through early 2010 Already open is the Hokulani building, which contains 318 guest suites and the ‘Aina Gourmet Market, as well as a pool, fitness center, concierge desk, Family Fun Club, pool and beach activities.
Opening in late 2009 is Duke’s beachside restaurant, with the Konea building ― containing 310 guest suites, a lobby cafe, two pools and a spa ― opening in early 2010.
