Crestline Hotels & Resorts has opened the new Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg in Blacksburg, Virginia.
The 137-bedroom hotel is located near the Virginia Tech campus and the Virginia Tech Research Center, as well as area businesses and leisure amenities such as the Pete Dye River Golf Course at Virginia Tech.
The Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg is owned by a joint venture that includes Alliance Hospitality, a private-equity, joint-venture real estate fund in which Barcelo Crestline Corporation (the parent company of Crestline Hotels & Resorts) is one of the partners. Alliance Hospitality was created to focus on hotel development and construction and also owns the 236-bedroom Westin Virginia Beach hotel, which opened in November 2007.
The Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg is located at 900 Plantation Road, Blacksburg, Virginia 24061. Each of its 137 bedrooms is furnished with a spacious work desk and Mirra ergonomic desk chair for comfort; complimentary wireless internet access; a 32-inch high definition television; and two telephone lines.
For meetings there is 1,280 square feet of divisible meeting space plus an additional 850 square feet of pre-function space that opens to an outdoor patio.
Dining and refreshment facilities include the Great American Grill for breakfast and dinner and the Pavilion Lounge for cocktails. It also offers the Pavilion Pantry for sundry items; and room service and onsite catering is available.
The hotel also has a fitness center as well as an indoor pool and spa area. Additional amenities include a business center and a guest laundry.
