The Courtyard by Marriott Boston/Westborough hotel is planning a comprehensive renovation to enhance all its public areas and guestrooms, in order to provide travelers with flexible spaces to work, relax and socialize in casual comfort.
The first phase of renovations in the Courtyard by Marriott hotel will begin in late fall of 2010 and completion is expected in the spring of 2011. Areas of improvement include all guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, exteriors and landscaping, the hotel’s pool area and its fitness room.
“These renovations demonstrate our commitment to our guests’ satisfaction and comfort,” says Mary Simone, area general manager for Interstate Hotels & Resorts, the hotel’s operator. “We are delighted to be bringing an enhanced experience to our customers and to the community.”
All guestrooms will be refurbished with new carpeting, artwork, wall treatment, new refrigerators, and new furniture including desk chairs and 32-inch flat panel TVs. In addition, suite rooms will have granite service-bar tops. All bathrooms will undergo a facelift as well, each receiving a new granite vanity, an under-mounted sink, wall treatment, flooring, shower curtain, feature lighting, and refurbished tub.
Guestroom corridors will be updated with all new wall treatment, signage, carpeting, paint, feature lighting and artwork. New carpeting and window treatments will be installed in the fitness room.
All exteriors will be painted, pavers will be refreshed and feature landscaping will be installed. Guests will also be able to work and relax in casual comfort outside in the courtyard, while the hotel’s pool area will be enhanced and will receive new paint and resurfacing.
A new lobby will be completed in the second phase of the renovation plans for the property.
