Recreational activities such as fishing and boating are available at nearby Waco Lake. A variety of dining and shopping options are also close by.

Best Western’s Atrea prototype was first announced at the brand’s annual convention in October 2007, and hotel developers have since committed to build an additional 28 Atrea properties in the United States and Canada.
