January 19: Israel’s national airline El Al is offering an all-inclusive package from the U.S. to Tel Aviv, featuring round-trip Business or Economy Class travel non-stop from either New York (JFK or Newark) or Los Angeles, plus a three-night stay at the five-star Hilton Tel Aviv. The price for the Business Class package, including round-trip fare, deluxe accommodations for three nights in a Vista Club room overlooking the Mediterranean, and daily access to the Vista Executive Club Lounge is $4,555 from New York and $5,555 from Los Angeles. Passengers can also buy the all-inclusive package for travel in economy class, with the same hotel amenities offered. The price is $1,888 per person from New York (JFK or Newark) or $2,111 per person from Los Angeles. All taxes and the fuel surcharge are included in these prices. These fares and air/hotel packages are available for ‘N’ economy tickets (valid up to six months and non-refundable after departure) or ‘Z’ business-class tickets (valid up to three months) on select El Al flights and are subject to availability. The last El Al departure date for which the package is available is March 15 and the latest hotel check-out date is March 19, 2012. The 17th floor Vista Executive Club Lounge in the Hilton Tel Aviv offers excellent views of the Mediterranean along with complementary buffet breakfast, cocktails, refreshments and newspapers.
