Dan Hotels Israel has unveiled the newly revamped Dan Carmel in Haifa in northern Israel.
The Dan Carmel Hotel originally opened in 1963. The renovated hotel features redesigned rooms and suites boasting 42-inch, flat-screen TVs and over-sized bathrooms, as well as panoramic views of the Carmel region, Galilee and Mediterranean Sea.
The hotel also has a swimming pool. The Dan Carmel is a few minutes’ walk from the picturesque Baha’i Gardens and other tourist attractions around Haifa.
“We are very excited to bring a new, contemporary look to the classic elegance of Dan Carmel,” says Rafi Baeri, VP of marketing and sales for Dan Hotels. “The newly designed rooms at the Dan Carmel will offer travelers the utmost luxury during their stay in the beautiful city of Haifa.”
Dan Hotels Israel lays claim to being the largest luxury-hotel group in the country.
The history of the chain dates back to June 1947, when brothers Yekutiel and Shmuel Federmann purchased a 21-room guest house called the “Kaete Dan” on the Tel Aviv seashore.
Today, the chain owns 14 deluxe and superior first-class hotels in prime locations around Israel, as well as an international convention center and a hotel-training school.
