Hard Rock International and Palace Resorts are set to unveil the new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic following a recent transformation.
The 121-acre property is located on Macao Beach and opens on November 1, becoming the first all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. A rock ‘n’ roll grand opening event is slated for January 2011. The 1,800 room Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana brings together the former Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort amenities and the vibe of the Hard Rock brand.
To mark the opening, visitors to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana this fall receive a $350 airfare credit per person, based on the adult rate with a maximum of two people. The offer is valid for travel through December 15 and provides a 20 per cent discount off the average daily rate for travel through December 23, 2010.
Guests can also take advantage of a $1,500 Resort Credit for use toward room upgrades, spa and beauty salon treatments, golf outings, romantic dinners, Precious Wedding Collection packages and off-site excursions, all when booking a five-night stay or longer.
Among the resort’s offerings are luxury accommodations featuring the Hard Rock’s “Rock Star Suite,” the Rock Spa, a celebrity-chef-branded restaurant, iconic music memorabilia, a Vegas-style casino and the Oro nightclub, which has been created by the Miami Marketing Group.
The Rock Spa offers complete hydrotherapy circuits, clay steam and color therapy steam rooms, saunas, a sensory experience pool and an innovative ice room for skin purification.
At 48,000 square feet, the hotel’s casino is recognized as the largest casino in the Dominican Republic, visitors. The casino boasts a high-limit poker room, a VIP lounge, a race and sports book, 457 slot machines and 40 gaming tables.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is equipped to handle the largest events, from full-blown rock concerts to small, intimate occasions, offering more than 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
Golf enthusiasts can play at the 18-hole, Nicklaus-designed golf course. Guests also have access to 11 expansive pools, four swim-up bars, a kids pool and lazy river.
