Seawings LLC, which claims to be the only seaplane tour operator in the Middle East, has adopted new pricing for the winter season of 2009/10 and is offering newly revised sightseeing packages for tourists and Dubai residents.

Tourists and residents of Dubai and neighboring Emirates will find Seawings’ two bases located at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa. The company offers a series of sightseeing packages and add-on activities to suit a variety of needs.

Seawings offers three sightseeing tour options: Seawings Silver; a 40-minute sightseeing tour of Dubai; Seawings Gold, a private charter for up to nine passengers; and Seawings Pearl, a 30-minute excursion covering the major landmarks of Dubai.

Its most popular tour, Seawings Silver provides views of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks including The Palm Jumeirah Islands, The World Islands, historic Dubai Creek, and Dubai Festival City. Priced at 1,225 United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) per person (US$334), flights depart from both the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa.

Seawings Gold provides a personalized view of Dubai’s coastal skyline and the modern architecture on which Dubai has built its reputation. The flights depart from either the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club or Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa and are priced at AED 9,900 ($2,696) per charter flight.

Seawings Pearl flights depart from the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa and are priced at AED 995 ($271) per person.

The carrier also offers one-way flights, its most affordable option. Priced at AED 795 ($216.50) per person, the daily flights operate to the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa.

The RTA access card allows Seawings customers to take a water taxi from the gold souk to the spice souk or take the metro to one of the ultra-modern shopping malls dotted around the city.
