Southwest Airlines is launching four new year-round domestic routes and a slew of new seasonal routes with the latest extension of its flight schedule.
In extending its bookable flight schedule from January 6 until March 8, 2016, Southwest Airlines is launching four new year-round routes on January 6.
The carrier will operate three daily round-trips between Burbank and San Francisco; two daily service between Indianapolis and Chicago Midway Airport; two daily round-trips between Little Rock and St. Louis; and a daily round-trip between Sacramento and Boise.
Southwest is offering introductory one-way fares of $49 on all four routes.
Customers can book introductory fares through Friday, July 3 at 11:59 p.m. in the respective time zone of the originating city. The sale ares are available for travel on non-stop flights every day except Fridays and Sundays from January 6 through March 8, 2016.
Southwest’s new schedule extension will also see it operate seasonal daily round-trips between Phoenix and Fort Lauderdale, and between Grand Rapids and Tampa.
Additionally, for the first time, Southwest will offer new daily seasonal service between Fort Myers’ Southwest Florida International Airport (IATA code RSW) and Nashville.
It will also operate new Saturdays-only seasonal service between RSW and four destinations: Buffalo, Dallas Love Field, Providence and Washington Reagan National Airport.
Daily seasonal round-trip service between Grand Rapids and Fort Myers also returns with Southwest’s new schedule extension.
In addition, Southwest will operate seasonal Saturdays-only round-trips connecting Orlando with Omaha, Detroit with Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale with Minneapolis-St. Paul.
