Frontier Airlines is launching service from its Milwaukee hub to Ironwood and Manistee in Michigan, and Rhinelander in Wisconsin, beginning April 18, 2011.

The routes will be operated by 37-seat Embraer 135 regional jets operated for Frontier Airlines by sister Republic Airways Holdings subsidiary Chautauqua Airlines.

Addition of the three new routes will bring the number of destinations Frontier serves in both Michigan and Wisconsin to five. Flights are available for purchase beginning February 6, 2011, with introductory fares for sale at www.FrontierAirlines.com/introfares.

“Our service to these three markets highlights Frontier’s continued commitment to providing convenient and affordable air travel to the region,” says Daniel Shurz, vice president of strategy and planning for Frontier Airlines. “Guests from Ironwood, Manistee and Rhinelander can look forward to our reliable service into Milwaukee with connections to our more than 70 destinations across the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica. We know these communities will respond well to the new service offered on the comfortable ERJ-135 jet aircraft.”

Frontier Airlines' mainline fleet is composed of Aibus A319s and A320s but Embraer 190s and ERJ-135s operated by sister Republic Airways Holdings carriers are increasingly appearing in Frontier's colors and operating flights on the combined Frontier-Midwest Express network under Frontier's flight code
