British Airways has launched daily nonstop service between London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS).

The new daily flight operates to and from Heathrow’s Terminal 5. British Airways is operating the service with Boeing 777-200ERs configured with three cabin classes, offering Club World (business class), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and World Traveller (economy). The Club World cabin offers seats that convert to 180-degree flat beds.

“Starting today, Las Vegas is British Airways’ 19th city in the US with daily flights to the UK, and we will be playing all the high stakes to make this investment a huge success for Las Vegas and our airline,” says Simon Talling-Smith, executive vice president Americas for British Airways. “And through our new Heathrow Terminal 5, the largest and most modern airport terminal in Europe, customers will experience quick and convenient connections to and from other British Airways cities in the UK, the European continent, the Middle and Far East, Africa, India and Australia.”

The Boeing 777-200ERs that British Airways is using on its new LHR-LAS service are configured with 36 Club World seats, 24 World Traveller Plus seats and 214 World Traveller seats. World Traveller Plus features a separate cabin with 38-inch pitch seats offering in-seat power for personal computers, cd/dvd players or the like.
