American Eagle Airlines is starting nonstop jet service from Chicago O’Hare International Airport to Charleston, West Virginia and three Pennsylvania destinations in the spring of 2010.
The carrier, which is American Airlines’ regional-airline sibling, begins nonstop jet service with two daily flights between Yeager Airport (CRW) in Charleston, West Virginia and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) on April 6, 2010. American Eagle will operate the service with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.
American Eagle’s schedule for the flights between Chicago and Charleston (all times local) calls for flight EGF3700 to depart CRW at 6:00 a.m. and arrive at ORD at 6:26 a.m. (This flight starts on April 7, 2010.) From the previous day, flight EGF3703 is timed to leave CRW at 5:35 p.m. and reach ORD at 6:01 p.m.
In the other direction, flight EGF3704 is timed to leave ORD at 2:35 p.m. and reach CRW at 5:08 p.m. Flight EGF3706 is schuedled to depart ORD at 8:00 p.m. to get to CRW at 10:33 p.m.
American Eagle already serves Charleston with a daily nonstop flight from New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA).
The airline also will begin nonstop jet service with three daily flights between Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Chicago O’Hare on April 6, 2010.
Then, on June 10, 2010, American Eagle will start service between Chicago O’Hare and Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) in Allentown, Pennsylvania, as well as Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP) in Avoca, Pennsylvania. Allentown will have three daily flights and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will have two daily flights.
American Eagle will operate the new service to all three Pennsylvania cities with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.
Its schedule for the flights between Harrisburg and Chicago O’Hare (all times local) calls for flight EGF3728 to push back at MDT at 7:30 a.m. in order to get to ORD at 8:30 a.m. (This flight is scheduled to begin on April 7, 2010.) Flight EGF3730 is timed to depart MDT at 12:40 p.m. and reach ORD at 1:40 p.m. Flight EGF3732 is planned to leave MDT at 4:50 p.m. and to arrive at ORD at 5:50 p.m.
Going the other way, flight EGF3727 will push back at ORD at 9:30 a.m. for a 12:15 p.m. arrival at MDT. Flight EGF3729 is timed to depart ORD at 1:40 p.m. to reach MDT at 4:25 p.m. and flight EGF3731 is scheduled to leave ORD at 7:15 p.m. for a 10:00 p.m. arrival at MDT.
American Eagle’s schedule for the flights between Allentown and Chicago O’Hare (all times local) will see flight EGF3775 leave ABE at 6:30 a.m. (the flight starts on June 11, 2010) and reach ORD at 7:40 a.m. Flight EGF3781 is timed to push back at ABE at 12:10 p.m. to get to ORD at 1:18 p.m., with flight EGF3783 planned for a 6:35 p.m. departure from ABE and a 7:43 p.m. touchdown at ORD.
From Chicago O’Hare to Allentown, the schedule calls for flight EGF3780 to push back at ORD at 8:45 a.m. in order to reach ABE at 11:41 a.m. Flight EGF3782 is planned for a 3:15 p.m. ORD departure and a 6:10 p.m. ABE arrival, while flight EGF3784 is timed to leave ORD at 7:10 p.m. and get to ABE at 10:06 p.m.
The airline’s schedule between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Chicago O’Hare (all times local) envisages flight EGF3818 departing AVP at 7:00 a.m. (from June 11, 2010) and reaching ORD at 8:04 a.m. The previous day, flight EGF3831 starts operating, with a planned 12:50 p.m. departure from AVP and a 1:54 p.m. arrival at ORD.
In the other directions, flight EGF3791 is scheduled to leave ORD at 9:30 a.m. and reach AVP at 12:24 p.m. Flight EGF3826 is planned to push back at ORD at 6:41 p.m. in order to arrive at AVP at 9:30 p.m.
