American Eagle is operating 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 regional jets on the DFW-Veracruz route and using 37-seat Embraer ERJ-135 regional jets for its DFW-Queretaro flights....

American Eagle Airlines has launched daily nonstop jet service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to two new destinations in Mexico – General Heriberto Jara International Airport in Veracruz (VER) and Queretaro International Airport in Queretaro (QRO).

The carrier, which is the regional sister airline of American Airlines, has also launched twice-daily nonstop service from Joplin Regional Airport (JLN) in Joplin, Missouri to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).


American Eagle is operating 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 regional jets on the DFW-Veracruz route and using 37-seat Embraer ERJ-135 regional jets for its DFW-Queretaro flights. Eagle is flying its Joplin-DFW route with 64-seat ATR 72-500 turboprops.

Veracruz is Mexico’s oldest and largest port city, catering to tourist and business travelers alike. Queretaro is a thriving inland city, dominated by manufacturing, commerce and tourism.

American Eagle’s schedule between Dallas/Fort Worth and Veracruz (all times local) sees its daily flight AA3309 leaving DFW at 6:50 p.m. and arriving at VER at 9:35 p.m. In the other direction, flight AA330 departs VER at 7:30 a.m. and lands at DFW at 10:15 a.m. local time.

The airline’s schedule between Dallas/Fort Worth and Queretaro calls for daily flight AA3293 to leave the gate at DFW at 10:30 a.m. and get to QRO at 1:20 p.m. local time. The return flight, AA3281, is timed to depart QRO at 2:10 p.m. and touch down at DFW at 4:35 p.m. local time.

Together, American Airlines and American Eagle serve 16 destinations throughout Mexico with 50 daily flights. With a total of 14 daily flights to Mexico, Eagle also serves Aguascalientes, Leon (Guanajuato), Chihuahua, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi and Torreon in addition to Veracruz and Queretaro.

American Eagle’s schedule for flights between Dallas/Fort Worth and Joplin sees daily flight AA4741 leave DFW at 1:30 p.m. and land at JLN at 2:55 p.m. Flight AA4703 is timed to depart DFW each day at 7:25 p.m. and get to JLN at 8:55 p.m. In the other direction, flight AA4784 leaves JLN at 7:00 a.m. and touches down at DFW at 8:45 a.m. Flight AA4750 is scheduled to depart JLN at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at DFW at 5:15 p.m.
