Allegiant Air is launching six-times weekly nonstop jet service between Las Vegas and Mesa in Arizona on November 17.

The company will introduce the new service to Las Vegas residents with introductory one-way fares from $29.99, plus taxes. Fares at introductory rates must be purchased by October 16 for travel by February 14, 2012. The introductory-fare offer is not not available from November 18 to November 28 and from December 24 to January 4, 2012. A fee of $14.99 per segment is levied when the fare is purchased through Allegiant call centers.


The new flights will operate six times weekly between McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA), with service on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On Mondays, Allegiant Air’s flight will depart LAS at 2:15 p.m. and arrive at IWA at 4:25 p.m local time. The flight leaving Mesa will depart at 1:25 p.m. and land at LAS at 1:35 p.m. local time. On Thursdays, the flight is timed to leave LAS at 2:50 p.m. and touch down at IWA at 5:00 p.m. local time In the other direction, the flight is scheduled to depart IWA at 2:00 p.m. and get to LAS at 2:10 p.m. local time.

Allegiant Air will operate two flights a day on the route on Fridays and Sundays. The first flight from LAS will push back from the gate at 3:40 p.m. and reach IWA at 5:50 p.m. local time. The second flight will begin taxiing at LAS at 7:20 p.m. in order to arrive at IWA at 9:30 p.m. local time

On Fridays and Sundays, in the other direction, the first Allegiant Air flight from IWA will depart at 2:50 p.m. and get to LAS at 3:00 p.m. local time. The second flight is timed to push back from the gate at IWA at 6:30 p.m. and reach LAS at 6:40 p.m. local time.

Allegiant Air will operate 150-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-80s on the route.

Allegiant also provides car-rental service through its partnership with Alamo Rent a Car.
