Las Vegas based Allegiant Air is launching nonstop service between Las Vegas and Long Beach, California on December 15.
Allegiant Air is marking the announcement with a ‘FLY FREE to Las Vegas or Long Beach’ offer: Purchase one air and hotel package with Allegiant by November 20 and the second person flies free. The offer is valid for travel completed by February 16, 2011 but is not available for flights between December 30, 2010 and January 2, 2011.
Prices do not include PFC, segment tax or September 11 security fee of up to $10.70 per segment. Allegiant applies a so-called “convenience fee” of $14.99 per passenger when customers book flights on www.allegiant.com and charges $14.99 per passenger, plus $14.99 per segment, when the tickets are purchased through an Allegiant call center at 702-505-8888.
Allegiant’s new flights will operate four times weekly between McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Long Beach Airport (LGB), with service on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Friday and Sunday flights will depart LAS at 5:55 p.m., arriving at LGB at 7 p.m. On these days, flights leaving LGB will depart at 7:50 p.m. and land at LAS at 8:55 p.m.
Thursday flights will leave LAS at 6:25 p.m. and reach LGB at 7:30 p.m. Flights from LGB will depart at 8:20 p.m. and get into LAS at 9:25 p.m.
Monday flights will depart LAS at 7 a.m., arriving at LGB at 8:05 a.m. Flights from LGB will leave at 8:45 a.m. and reach LAS at 9:50 a.m.
Allegiant Air will operate 150-seat MD-80s on the route.
The company partners with more than 60 Las Vegas hotel properties to offer air-and-hotel packages and provides car-rental service through a partnership with Alamo Rent a Car.
