“We’re pleased to bring affordable and convenient travel options to Bloomington,” says Andrew Levy, president of Allegiant Air’s parent Allegiant Travel Company. “Our service to Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tampa, Florida from Peoria has been very successful and the airport has been a great partner for us. We are confident that the new service in Bloomington will be a perfect complement to our existing service in the region and that the residents of Central Illinois will appreciate flying non-stop to Orlando.”

“The addition of service by Allegiant Air to the Central Illinois Regional Airport demonstrates not only the ongoing strength of the airport but the region as a whole,” says Rep. Timothy Johnson. “This should be a popular flight option for the citizens of central Illinois as Central Illinois Regional Airport continues to set the regional standard for midsized airports.”

“This is great news for all of Central Illinois. It speaks to the strength of the Central Illinois Regional Airport that Allegiant would choose to operate in a new airport during this period of prolonged economic uncertainty,” says Rep. Aaron Schock. “My hats off to the airport management for their work in securing this new service provider. Allegiant has an exemplary record in servicing the nearby Peoria Airport, and the Bloomington community will quickly realize the value they bring to each community they serve.”
