AirTran Airways is launching new non-stop service between Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport in Baltimore and Jacksonville International Airport in Jacksonville, Florida on May 4.

The airline will offer two daily nonstop flights between Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) and Jacksonville International (JAX).


From May 4, AirTran Airways’ Baltimore-Jacksonville schedule calls for flight FL137 to depart BWI at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at JAX at 12:30 p.m. Flight FL139 is timed to leave BWI at 7:55 p.m. and reach JAX at 9:55 p.m.

In the other direction, flight FL136 is scheduled to push back at JAX at 7:40 a.m. and to land at BWI at 9:30 a.m. Flight FL138 will depart at 3:00 p.m. and arrive at BWI at 4:50 p.m.

AirTran Airways is offering introductory one-way fares for its new flights between Baltimore/Washington and Jacksonville. Travel on introductory fares must be booked by February 25 for travel through June 9.

The lowest one-way advance-booking fare is $74 plus taxes and fees, while the lowest walk-up fare is $235 plus taxes and fees. The lowest introductory business-class fare is $315 plus taxes and fees. These fares are available daily and are valid in either direction.
