Emirates has launched a new Premium Arrivals service at Emirates Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, claiming the service is the first of its kind offered by a commercial airline.
The airline says its Premium Arrivals service will offer First and Business class passengers, as well as Skywards Gold members, a more seamless arrival by collecting their luggage from an area set aside exclusively for the Premium Arrivals service.
Premium customers flying to Dubai from the carrier’s four U.S. gateways – New York, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco – will have a designated arrival area at Carousel 10 located in the Arrivals Hall. The Premium Arrivals service also extends to priority passengers with upgrade capabilities.

With nearly 80 Boeing 777s of various models in service by the end of 2009, Emirates operates the largest Boeing 777-family fleet of any airline in the world
The Premium Arrivals area of the Arrivals Hall is close to the Dubai Duty Free shop and Emirates says it features a dedicated First and Business Class Baggage Services lounge, a comfortable seating area around the carousel with a dedicated Emirates Airport Services team and porters on hand to assist customers with luggage and information.
Other services and amenities that Emirates offers its premium-class customers include dedicated booking lines at call centers; chauffeur-driven car service; dedicated check-in areas; excess-baggage allowances; Emirates lounges; priority boarding; and Fast Track immigration.
