On December 3, Boeing reached a new record for year-to-date 737 deliveries with the delivery of its 377th 737NG assembled in 2012.
The delivery of the aircraft, a Boeing 737-900ER fitted with a Boeing Sky Interior to United Airlines, topped the manufacturer’s previous annual record of 376 Boeing 737 deliveries, which the company set in 2010.

On December 3, 2012, with the delivery of a new 737-900ER to United Airlines, Boeing delivered its 377th 737 of the year. This set a new record in 737-delivery pace for the manufacturer, whose previous annual 737 delivery record had been 376 aircraft, a figure achieved in 2010
In October, the Boeing 737 also broke its own record for net orders in a single year when it topped the 2007 record of orders for 846 aircraft.
Net year-to-date orders for the Boeing 737NG and Boeing 737 MAX families to date in 2012 total 1,031 aircraft.
This year also represents is the first time in the single-aisle 737’s history that it has logged orders for more than 1,000 aircraft in a single year.
