Austrian Airlines has begun five-times-weekly non-stop service between Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Vienna International Airport, the first flight operating on May 17. The carrier is operating the service with Boeing 767-300ER widebodies.
China Eastern Airlines has taken delivery of its first A320 equipped with Sharklet fuel-saving wing-tip devices, becoming the first Chinese carrier to do so. The aircraft is also the first Sharklet-equipped Airbus A320 assembled and delivered at the Airbus Final Assembly Line in Tianjin.
LOT Polish Airlines, the first European carrier to operate the Boeing 787, is introducing a new premium economy class on its Dreamliner flights. The carrier is offering introductory round-trip fares in the ‘Premium Club’ cabins of its Boeing 787-8 jets.
